Dr. Muhammad Iqbal is English Programs Regional Manager at the
U. S. Consulate General in Lahore for the last more than 14
years. He funds, oversees, and collaborates with the partner
organizations for English language programs in the Punjab
province. He is a PhD in Linguistics. Before joining the
Consulate, he taught at the University of Punjab, Allama lqbal
Open University, National University of Modern Languages, and
Lahore Leads University. Dr. Iqbal has more than 24-year
teaching and teacher training experience.
Prof. Dr. M. Asad Meraj

Bio
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asad Meraj is the Principal of the University of Education, Multan Campus, and a Professor of Mathematics. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from Karl-Franzens Universität Graz, Austria. Since joining UE Multan on 14th February 2020, he has focused on raising academic standards, promoting research, and improving campus administration. Known for his disciplined leadership and student-centered approach, he continues to contribute to the growth and excellence of the institution.
M.Farhan Rafi

Bio
Farhan Rafi is an English language trainer, freelance writer,
and academic from Multan with over 20 years of teaching
experience. He holds a Master’s in English and an MS in
Linguistics. A key milestone in his journey was joining the
U.S.-sponsored English Access Program in 2012, followed by a
Cultural Immersion experience in the U.S. in 2013. Currently, he
serves as Program Manager at the University of Education Lahore,
Multan Campus, where he promotes modern teaching methods and
inspires youth with values of tolerance, peace, and leadership.
Muhammad Naeem

Bio
Muhammad Naeem holds an M.Phil in Linguistics and M.A. degrees in English Literature and TEFL. With over 15 years of teaching experience at college and university levels, they have been actively involved in RELO-funded projects since 2016. A certified language instructor and teacher trainer, they currently serve as Academic Coordinator for English Access at the University of Education, Multan Campus, and as a Senior Teacher at Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges. In 2023, they represented Pakistan at the TESOL Conference and now serve on the TESOL Proposal Reviewer Committee, contributing to programs like English Works and English Access.

Access History
The journey of Access Class from its founding to its current impact on
students worldwide.
Program Foundation
2010
Access Class was established with an initial cohort of 30 students
and 2 teachers, focusing on providing English language education to
talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Received initial grant funding to support program
development
Program Expansion
2015
The program expanded to serve 150 students across multiple
locations, introducing specialized tracks in academic writing,
public speaking, and digital media to enhance student skills.
Recognized for excellence in educational programming by the
International Education Association
Global Partnerships
2018
Access Class established partnerships with international educational
institutions, creating exchange opportunities and virtual
collaboration projects for students to gain global perspectives.
Launched the Global Voices initiative connecting students
across 10 countries
Current Impact
2025
Today, Access Class serves over 500 students annually, with a
network of 2,000+ alumni who have gone on to pursue higher education
and impactful careers. Our comprehensive curriculum now includes
specialized tracks in creative expression, digital literacy, and
leadership development.
